As we talk about campus life then i would say this is best among any other colleges,
We have two major fest. Tech fest kshtiz which is asia biggest tech fest.,
Campus is almost in 2200 acre and greenery is everywhere.

Dislikes:
One thing that i want talk about is couples. They are everywhere.,
We have nothing to explore outside the campus.,
As i have mentioned campus is too large but after certain period of time it became cons because u have to cover approx 5-6km daily to attend all classes.

12th passed out student with PCM subjects. Also, he has to qualify JEE MAINS entrance exam to get the opportunity to take the entrance exam of IIT ( whose form-filling process is online at the JOSAA website and the examination name is JEE Advanced). If a student qualifies for this JEE Advanced exam and also secures any AIR. Then he is eligible for admission to any IIT college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As in IIT college, if you get a good AIR then you can choose any stream of your choice but if your AIR is not so good then the top course selection gets closed, Then you have to choose your course from the lower stream. As I have not secured good AIR so, I have to select a Mining course to get admission in this world-renowned and oldest IIT of India, IIT Kharagpur. As I have 8 subjects in each semester, different faculties are available for their specific course. The faculty and student ratio is far better. They are very helpful toward students' individual progress. You can ask for any type of academic help via email or contact number at any time. As this is an IIT college, all of the teachers are well enough qualified even though many of them are involved in research at the international level. They taught each and every topic with their full strength to make it easier for students to understand and used to teach in the English language so that each and every student could understand, 2 exams per semester.

Beautiful campus and culture. Its campus is green and spreaded in 2100 acres. It is the biggest IIT among all IITs.,
All types of sports are played and every sports has its own olympic size ground within the campus. Spring fest and kshitij (Techfest) are also held every year.,
A world class facilities is provided to students.

Dislikes:
Schedule is too hectic and there is a high chance of mental pressure.,
You may not like food of every hostel but food of LBS hall is much better.

You have to clear the JEE ADVANCED exam to get into any IIT and must secure a general rank under 20000 for obc students to get into IIT Kharagpur in its lowest branch. The form will be available after the declaration of the second JEE Mains result and the application fee is 2900 rupees for Indian students. There are much higher chances to get in the top IIT even at a lower rank if you can avail of reservation benefits. A student ( general) will get the lowest branch in IIT Kharagpur at 8000 general rank and a student (OBC) will get the same seat at 20000 general rank and 25000 to 30000 for SC/ST students. The admission process at IIT Kharagpur is very smooth. You do not have to worry about anything. You will get much time for fee payment.

There are a total of 15000 (approx) students including all fields, 832 academic staff, and approximately 1500 administrative staff. The faculty-student ratio is 1:2 approx. Some of the faculties are Ph.D. holders from IIT Kharagpur itself and others from other IITs and some have done Ph.D. from reputed colleges outside India like Cambridge, Standford, oxford, etc. Most of our professors teach well and they are well-qualified. Our professors solve our doubts easily, and with the help of TAs and seniors, we solve our doubts. In one semester, there is one mid-semester exam, an end-semester exam, and two class tests for each theory subject. For internal marks in the lab, we have to perform well during lab. IIT are one of renowned engineering in INDIA. JEE ADVANCE is the entrance exam for the IITs. According to your ranking you will get course according to your preference. You can find the application for the JEE advance in NTA. This exam is conducted by IITs. Every year one IIT take responsibility to conduct the exam. I got Gen-EWS reservation to get into this college. This quota not that much better as OBC but It is better than General merits. It helps little bit. After the exam results, there around 6-7 round of counselling takes with takes around 2-3months to complete the process. I don't think any improvements needed in the admission process of the college.

Now, I am in 3rd semester, and after getting into IIT the first semester the same for all the department students. Student start to study their department stuff in their 3rd semester. This course is pseudo-circuital. This course help you get placed. And you get extra time to explore many things. I think the subjects in the industrial department are real-life applicable subjects. Subjects are fun to study, and students who are interested in how the industries work all this stuff will enjoy the subject. Exams are not that hard not that too easy. If you study just 1 week before the exam, you can score average marks.

A overview of IIT Kharagpur

Likes:
The campus life and the peer group and the way it ignites the competitive spirit all the time ,
The Annual fests of the college where we are able to witness big stars , new innovations and get entangled in joy,
The placement percentage which assures me that I have a something in future that I can work upon

Dislikes:
The crowd sometimes annoys me as in canteens and hotels there are huge number of seats occupied all the time,
Lack of modernisation outside the campus as most of the area is rural,
Area of the campus is too large so travelling between checkpoints requires you a bicycle

I had to appear for the JEE Exam soa as to be eligible in my college for admission . The application forms were released on the website of NTA which conducts the exam . We can avail various type of reservations based on category, disability etc. One improvement I would like to see is the process of verification should be more clear regarding the documents submission

The faculty student ration is 1:30 that means its pretty good for a candidate to get his doubts cleared . All the faculties are pretty renowned and are mostly research graduates from foreign universities and the teaching method is based on school system where classes are held daily The exams are held in two phases namely midsem and endsem and generally the endsem carry half of weightage and are on a tougher side

The sports facilities for students are really good and provide ample resources who have keen interest in those.,
IIT Kharagpur has a huge alumini network,

Dislikes:
The teaching quality of proffessors are sometimes not as per standard,
Huge competition in every field due to large number of students

I took the JEE(Advanced) Exam in 2021, and for this, the eligibility criteria was to qualify for the JEE(Main) Examination. The application form, fees, and dates can be found on the official website for JEE(Main) and Advanced. The Reservations are also available as per govt. rules as it is a govt. examination. I was under the general quota, so was not able to avail any benefits from this reservation. The admission process was a bit of time and the whole counselling and admitting to college took almost 1 month, I think this can be reduced by the government.

I have heard about the circuital branches and their benefits during the college internships and placement processes. The students from circuital branches have more opportunities for many software companies than the non-circuital branches. That's the reason I have opted for Electrical Engineering Faculty Student ratio is 1:135 The faculty are well-educated professors and their qualifications are mainly B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D. etc. The teaching method is not so interesting but their depth of knowledge is incomparable. Every semester(4 months duration) we have two examinations (mid-term and end-term). The difficulty varies for different branches. Electrical Engineering is one of the toughest exams but almost all students manage to pass in every subject

IIT KGP Detailed review

Likes:
Campus life is the best. I been vouch no other college can have a campus life better than IIT KGP,
Very less interference into student life by higher authorities. No hostel timings, no gate timings.,
Placements are outstanding, it being one of the IITs.

Dislikes:
The campus is big. This was a good thing unless I realised I would have to cycle for minimum 12km in one day.

You would have to qualify for JEE mains, conducted by NTA, and then get a good rank in JEE Advanced. The details like form, fee and application dates keep changing. I would advise students to keep checking the NTA and JEE Advanced websites for updates and more information.

This course comes under the "semi-circuital" category. There are just 72 seats in B tech plus dual degree for this course, so the student-faculty ratio is very nice. This is also considered to be a relatively "chill" branch, as there is not so much academic load, hence exams are not too tough to pass.

I like the campus infrastructure and the greenery.,
The kgp culture is one of things which I like the most it is very vibrant.,
The seniors are very helpful and they're very cheerful with juniors

In my case, after writing the JEE advanced exam and getting the results we have to apply for seat allocation by JOSAA the news will be released on the website of JOSAA. Once the seat is confirmed we have to do online registration and report to the institute for Physical registration. The admission process was organized by IIT Kharagpur where we had to first report at the hostel for a room allocation and then go through physical registration or verification of documents. My course is B.tech in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering whose cutoff was AIR 2749 for females in the open category this time.

I chose this course because I was interested in Electronics from before. The faculty: student ratio is 1:5 so it's pretty good. The qualifications of the Professors are high and their teaching method is very innovative with innovative tutorials and worksheets. There are regular class tests and mid-semester, and end-semester exams. These exams are of decent level and should be passable if the student listens to all the classes.

The admission process is done by NTA and Josaa counseling. For admission to IIT first I clear Jee Main which is the qualifying exam to appear in Jee Advanced. And for IIT Kharagpur I have clear jee advanced with air rank 10850. All details regarding fees and application dates I found on nta official website.

Indian Mining industry is increasing its market acquisition in the global market as there are many targeted elements are getting in different parts of the country, that's why I chose it. The faculty is excellent and experienced. Most of them have done Ph.D.s in their field. and their teaching methods are also unique. in IIT KHARAGPUR. There are two terms in a year. Two-time exams and two-time class tests happen in a semester. First mid mid-semester our mid-semester happened in 18 to 26 September and the end semester in November 16 to 26. And class tests happen according to the choices of faculties.

I like there infrastructure because ther is good way to made all building in nearly close to each other.,
I like there ground , because many student whose come poor family they not effort this Appronity.,
Couse i also like because there is no. Of branch and every one is good in own field.

Dislikes:
Management , central Library system.,
Going to 5th floor no availability of lift.,
Academic area at around 3km distance from hostel.

The admission process is good and eligibility of course is different for different categories of students and the application form I got Sarkari result or site of jee advance. The benefit of reservations is you get APROTUNATY to study with bi-rite students. The admissions process is good I want to take a particular course test, not a common test because then after a student chooses a particular course.

I chose it because this is a branch. I agree and am happy with this branch I have 5 subjects at that time first semester EV, ET, MA, POW, ME. The faculty: student ratio is 1:120 The teaching method is not so good because they do not effort they read only slides on the projector.
