IIIT Allahabad 2024 Admission Updates
- IIIT Allahabad BTech admissions are based on JEE Advanced score 2024 followed by JoSAA Counselling. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 & 2 dates are out. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 will be conducted on January 24, 2024 and February 1, 2024. The session 2 exams will be conducted on April 1, 2024 and April 15, 2024.
- IIIT Allahabad MSc admissions are IIT JAM Score-based. The admit card for the exam will be released on January 08, 2023 onwards. IIT JAM 2024 will be conducted on February 11, 2024.
- IIIT Allahabad MTech Admissions are based on the GATE 2024 score. The registration process for GATE is over and the admit card will be released on January 03 onwards. GATE 2024 will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024.
- Furthermore, for MBA Admission, CAT 2023 Admit card will be released on November 07 onwards. CAT 2023 Entrance test is scheduled on November 26, 2023.
- IIIT Allahabad is inviting applications for its PhD Course offered by various departments for the January 2024 Session. Admissions will be done based on the IIITA-PET written examination followed by a PI Round on Dec 20, 2023. Interested candidates can apply till Dec 10, 2023, through the official website @iiita.ac.in by paying an application fee of INR 500 (INR 250 for the reserved categories).

IIIT Allahabad offers B.Tech programs in three specializations, each of them segregated into eight semesters.There is provision for direct admission to B. Tech programs under DASA for students who have completed their last qualifying exam abroad.

IIIT Allahabad B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Aspirants who wish to join the B.Tech program are required to complete their 10+2 board examination with PCM from a recognized institute.
- Candidates must at least score a minimum of 50% marks in their examination.
- For SC/ST students, there is 10% relaxation in the minimum required percentile of qualifying marks in the 12th class examination.
IIIT Allahabad B.Tech Selection Criteria
- The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will regulate the seat allocation
- With valid JEE Main or equivalent entrance examination score, a merit list shall be made category-wise, listing All India Rank (AIR) of candidates.
- Based on the rank secured, candidates are required to appear in JoSAA Counselling rounds as per their category.

IIIT Allahabad M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed their B. Tech in the relevant field with at least 6.5 CGPA or at least 60% marks in the aggregate.
- The candidates must have a GATE score of the past 3 years.
- SC/ST candidates must have 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks to be eligible for the program.
IIIT Allahabad M.Tech Selection Criteria
- Admission to the M.Tech program will be granted on the basis of GATE score.
- For the M.Tech Program, candidates will have to participate through CCMT Counselling. They need to register at the official CCMT website
- Fill in the application form entering personal and academic details and pay the registration fee (INR 2200/- for General/ OBC and INR 1700/- for SC/ ST/ PwD)
- Start entering the desired choices. Add the choices in decreasing order of preference and lock them.
- With the rounds of counselling, seats will be allotted. Candidates need to download the allotment letter and report to the institute. They must carry the original documents with them on the day of admission.

- Register for the GATE exam through the Online Application form.
- Enter personal login with the unique ID and password and enter personal information (name, date of birth, personal mobile number, parents’ name, parents’ mobile number, etc.).

IIIT Allahabad MBA Admission 2024
The institute offers the full-time MBA program for two years. Admission is done on the basis of CAT score followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
IIIT Allahabad MBA Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility for the program is Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PD) from a recognized university.
- Candidates must also have a valid CAT score to be eligible and be shortlisted for the program. Score of 85+ percentile is preferred as the minimum score for shortlisting candidates.
- Final year students who are awaiting or will be completing their graduation can also apply for the program.
IIIT Allahabad MBA Selection Criteria
- Once the notification has been released, candidates can fill the application form entering all the information including CAT score and registration details.
- Upon shortlisted (based on CAT scores), they need to report to the institute for GD PI rounds, schedule as mentioned in the intimation letter mailed to each shortlisted candidate
- Based on GD PI rounds’ performance, past academic performance and CAT score, the final list of selected students shall be released on the website as well as personally informed via Email to each selected student.

- The applicants need to register online with the portal.

IIIT Allahabad Dual Degree Admission 2024
IIIT Allahabad offers a five-year dual degree program at the UG and PG levels in various specializations. On successful completion of the program, students are awarded two degrees, one in the parent course they choose at the time of admission and the other one in an upper-level course in which they choose to continue the course for the dual degree. The admission process was based on the Gate exam for the Mtech program, Different categories have different gate scores as a cut for admission, a Gate score above 500 is the safe score to get admission to the college. Admission is conducted through ccmt with 3 regular rounds followed by 2 special rounds in the last 1 National spot round. Reservation is for the student whose family income is less than 450000

Admission is through jee mains, you have to be in top 1 percent of the aspirations to get into this college. The opening rank of this college this year 2023 is around 700 and closing rank is around 7000 .

Eligibility: 75 percent in 10th and ranks-based Jossa cutoff. application is based on Jossa counseling. there are sc, ST, obc, EWS, and women-based reservations available. improvement is not needed.

Eligibility is the cutoff rank in jee main based on josaa, optional 75 percent in 12th. Seats are given by josaa counseling. There sc, st, obc, and ews and women reservation same as that nits and iits. But there is no home state quota.

I would like to share that my admission process to the ECE branch at IIIT Allahabad has been successfully completed through the JOSAA counselling. I achieved a remarkable JEE mains rank, which allowed me to secure a cutoff of 3515 (OBC category) for the ECE branch. I'm proud to have gained admission to IIIT Allahabad, one of the esteemed institutions for technical education. The college's cutoff rank for the ECE branch was 3750 for the OBC category, and I'm grateful to have surpassed it with my rank of 3515. SC/ST candidates can avail themselves of additional benefits. This includes the complete waiver of tuition fee and eligibility of NSP which offers a scholarship of 1,00,000 per year. I believe that the admission process is conducted meticulously. The transparency and efficiency are truly commendable.

- Placement, institute is well renowned for the placements it provide,Least is 14 LPA and avg around 29 for ECE students.,
- Free time we get here is ok when compared to other colleges.

- Welfare things ,like mess food is not as good when compared to the fee we are paying.,
- Campus size 😅,not really 100 acers,compact one.,
- Management , management here is lazy and don't solve students problems quickly.
The admission process is through JEE Mains only. You can directly apply for the Jee exam on the NTA website. Prior reservations will be given for ST/SC students and PWD candidates. Girls have a special reservation quota irrespective of caste reservation. It would be suggested to cut the reservations for OBC students, even though they have more annual income they get benefits by the name of caste.

Admission is done on the basis of various Management Entrance exam CAT, MAT, CMAT, and XAT are common entrance exams whose marks are considered for the Interview Call. After getting shortlisted An interview is held offline and online. After the interview selected candidate gets a call letter. Eligibility is graduation in any course The application fee is 1200

- In IIITA we get to work on real time projects which helps a lot

- Mess food as i am from south india the food in the menu is majorly based on north side of india,
- A very packed schedule going to have assignment every week viva's every week etc.,
- Number of holidays we get less number number of holiday than other government colleges
Everyone who joins this college must write JEE Mains and need a good score to join the college. You need to apply through JOSAA which is handled by the central government. As it is conducted by the government reservation is available for OBC, SE, ST, PWD, EWS, etc.

- Campus Life :The campus is a heaven for me. Most of the time I use to stay in campus with my friends and have fun there.,
- Society Culture: Because of that we are able to explore the different things and follow the passion or hobby.,
- Coding Culture: We have a great peer coding culture everyone here use to code

- CCLCAA: It's new academic policy that the institute follow. Under this we have to give continuous evaluation throughout the semester which some times become super hectic.,
- No Entry in Labs after 12 :00AM(night),
- No Entry in Any Building In Shorts: No student is allowed to enter in any building in shorts.
Eligibility is JEE Mains 75% of boards Application Prcosess: One who is interested can apply through jossa portal or csab portal. The fee that will be charged for the application process is 35000 for the general category and 15000 for obc/st/sc/pwd. Reservation Benefits: There are reservation benefits for OBC/ST/SC/PWD/EWS. Also, there is no home reservation, unlike nits. 0 Tuition fee for SC/ST students.

The average JEE score required for admission to integrated B.Tech + MBA course is around 90 percentile for unreserved catagory students. There are some relaxation for other categories students.
IIIT Allahabad will begin the admission to B.Tech course soon. The admission to B.Tech course starts after the completion of JEE counselling process.
