- As we talk about campus life then i would say this is best among any other colleges,
- We have two major fest. Tech fest kshtiz which is asia biggest tech fest.,
- Campus is almost in 2200 acre and greenery is everywhere.
- Dislikes:
- One thing that i want talk about is couples. They are everywhere.,
- We have nothing to explore outside the campus.,
- As i have mentioned campus is too large but after certain period of time it became cons because u have to cover approx 5-6km daily to attend all classes.
Course Curriculum Overview:
As in IIT college, if you get a good AIR then you can choose any stream of your choice but if your AIR is not so good then the top course selection gets closed, Then you have to choose your course from the lower stream. As I have not secured good AIR so, I have to select a Mining course to get admission in this world-renowned and oldest IIT of India, IIT Kharagpur. As I have 8 subjects in each semester, different faculties are available for their specific course. The faculty and student ratio is far better. They are very helpful toward students' individual progress. You can ask for any type of academic help via email or contact number at any time. As this is an IIT college, all of the teachers are well enough qualified even though many of them are involved in research at the international level. They taught each and every topic with their full strength to make it easier for students to understand and used to teach in the English language so that each and every student could understand, 2 exams per semester.

- Beautiful campus and culture. Its campus is green and spreaded in 2100 acres. It is the biggest IIT among all IITs.,
- All types of sports are played and every sports has its own olympic size ground within the campus. Spring fest and kshitij (Techfest) are also held every year.,
- A world class facilities is provided to students.
- Dislikes:
- Schedule is too hectic and there is a high chance of mental pressure.,
- You may not like food of every hostel but food of LBS hall is much better.
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are a total of 15000 (approx) students including all fields, 832 academic staff, and approximately 1500 administrative staff. The faculty-student ratio is 1:2 approx. Some of the faculties are Ph.D. holders from IIT Kharagpur itself and others from other IITs and some have done Ph.D. from reputed colleges outside India like Cambridge, Standford, oxford, etc. Most of our professors teach well and they are well-qualified. Our professors solve our doubts easily, and with the help of TAs and seniors, we solve our doubts. In one semester, there is one mid-semester exam, an end-semester exam, and two class tests for each theory subject. For internal marks in the lab, we have to perform well during lab. Lab tests are also conducted before the end-semester exam. Checking and security are tight during exams. These exams are not as tough as JEE exams. If you study at least 2 hours a day you will get good marks in exams.

I have choosen the chemical engineering stream at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. The professors at IIT Kharagpur are really very helpful. We really like to attend their classes. We have a class strength of 142.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Now, I am in 3rd semester, and after getting into IIT the first semester the same for all the department students. Student start to study their department stuff in their 3rd semester. This course is pseudo-circuital. This course help you get placed. And you get extra time to explore many things. I think the subjects in the industrial department are real-life applicable subjects. Subjects are fun to study, and students who are interested in how the industries work all this stuff will enjoy the subject. Exams are not that hard not that too easy. If you study just 1 week before the exam, you can score average marks.

- The campus life and the peer group and the way it ignites the competitive spirit all the time ,
- The Annual fests of the college where we are able to witness big stars , new innovations and get entangled in joy,
- The placement percentage which assures me that I have a something in future that I can work upon
- Dislikes:
- The crowd sometimes annoys me as in canteens and hotels there are huge number of seats occupied all the time,
- Lack of modernisation outside the campus as most of the area is rural,
- Area of the campus is too large so travelling between checkpoints requires you a bicycle
Course Curriculum Overview:
The faculty student ration is 1:30 that means its pretty good for a candidate to get his doubts cleared . All the faculties are pretty renowned and are mostly research graduates from foreign universities and the teaching method is based on school system where classes are held daily The exams are held in two phases namely midsem and endsem and generally the endsem carry half of weightage and are on a tougher side

Course Curriculum Overview:
I have heard about the circuital branches and their benefits during the college internships and placement processes. The students from circuital branches have more opportunities for many software companies than the non-circuital branches. That's the reason I have opted for Electrical Engineering Faculty Student ratio is 1:135 The faculty are well-educated professors and their qualifications are mainly B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D. etc. The teaching method is not so interesting but their depth of knowledge is incomparable. Every semester(4 months duration) we have two examinations (mid-term and end-term). The difficulty varies for different branches. Electrical Engineering is one of the toughest exams but almost all students manage to pass in every subject

- Campus life is the best. I been vouch no other college can have a campus life better than IIT KGP,
- Very less interference into student life by higher authorities. No hostel timings, no gate timings.,
- Placements are outstanding, it being one of the IITs.
- Dislikes:
- The campus is big. This was a good thing unless I realised I would have to cycle for minimum 12km in one day.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course comes under the "semi-circuital" category. There are just 72 seats in B tech plus dual degree for this course, so the student-faculty ratio is very nice. This is also considered to be a relatively "chill" branch, as there is not so much academic load, hence exams are not too tough to pass.

- The kgp culture is one of things which I like the most it is very vibrant.,
- The seniors are very helpful and they're very cheerful with juniors
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because I was interested in Electronics from before. The faculty: student ratio is 1:5 so it's pretty good. The qualifications of the Professors are high and their teaching method is very innovative with innovative tutorials and worksheets. There are regular class tests and mid-semester, and end-semester exams. These exams are of decent level and should be passable if the student listens to all the classes.

- Placement is very good approximately every one get what they want,
- Teachers are very nice supportive and helping nature,
- Friend that we found in campus is very nice
- Dislikes:
- Most of the peoples talks in only English,
- Very high price of food in hotel near campus,
- Very high price of touto that charge many rupees for only some small distance
Course Curriculum Overview:
Indian Mining industry is increasing its market acquisition in the global market as there are many targeted elements are getting in different parts of the country, that's why I chose it. The faculty is excellent and experienced. Most of them have done Ph.D.s in their field. and their teaching methods are also unique. in IIT KHARAGPUR. There are two terms in a year. Two-time exams and two-time class tests happen in a semester. First mid mid-semester our mid-semester happened in 18 to 26 September and the end semester in November 16 to 26. And class tests happen according to the choices of faculties.

- Academic area at around 3km distance from hostel.

I chose it because this is a branch. I agree and am happy with this branch I have 5 subjects at that time first semester EV, ET, MA, POW, ME. The faculty: student ratio is 1:120 The teaching method is not so good because they do not effort they read only slides on the projector.
